Scrabble

I'm meeting with a group of people tonight who want to form a Scrabble group in my area. Just a few of us, so far, and I'm not sure all that's involved in forming a formal group, although I've read up on it a bit at the web site. Apparently tournament players do only one-on-one Scrabble - no three or four player games. I'm a pretty good "living room" player, but think I'll find myself outclassed with really serious players. But I'm up for a try, and will see what happens. I have my con-going Scrabble bag with two boards, two sets of letters, eight racks, and my 3rd edition Scrabble dictionary (plus of course, the list of "objectionable" words that they took out between 2nd edition and 3rd edition).
