ok, folks, this is not summer in colorado. summer in colorado is warm and dry with afternoon thunderstorms followed by huge, extravagent rainbows. this is summer in the scottish highlands. it is damp and dark, and dingy. i can't see the mountains for the clouds and fog. i can't even see the FOOTHILLS. i need a cup of hot cocoa and a blankie.
