westercon registration

no insult intended to the real westercon registration, but i'm wondering why it is that just before i woke up this morning i was madly making dymo labels from a list provided by ashcomp to put on laminated badges for westercon members. we already had boxes and boxes of premade badges ready to go, but these were the last minute prereg people and there seemed to be a ton of them. now why ashcomp in DC and I, in Colorado, were running westercon registration I'll never know - but the badges had lovely art and the labels were in nice large type .
