Greek food
Jul. 9th, 2014 05:37 amSo last night Kent and I trekked up to Aurora to have a birthday dinner with friends. On arriving, about 10 minutes early, at the Athenian restaurant we found that it was closed for renovations. As people began to arrive, I took a quick look in my iPhone for another Greek place in Aurora and found Basil's Greek Dining which looked very good. I made a reservation for a birthday group of seven in half an hour (which they took very pleasantly and welcomingly) and then handed the phone to a local to have her get directions. It seemed to be taking some time for them to reach a common ground in locations, and then I heard, "I see. Aurora, Illinois. Yes, yes, we ARE in Aurora, Colorado. Thanks." So we went to the Japanese steakhouse behind Outback.
