what would it be like to be normal?

i'm struggling with incipient senility. i can no longer keep five things going in my head and on my screen at once. frankly, i boggle at two. thyroid? shall i up the dosage? have any of you ever wondered, as super geniuses, what it would be like to STOP being a super genius and have to struggle along like normal people do? to strain to understand things that used to sparkle with dimensional clarity? thanks be that i can still follow the story in my trashy novels! perhaps that's the last thing to go.
