earlier this year i followed a link from someone's LJ to an article about how US and UK publishers were marketing SF books using very different cover art to appeal to different cultures. now i can't find the article. can anyone point me to it?

No, I can't, but I hope someone recovers it for you. I'd like to read that myself.

My French cover for GLASS HARMONICA was computer-generated, which means cheap, but it's effective. I'm agog to see what the Germans will do with AIRS BENEATH THE MOON!

Google: MediaBistro or GalleyCat, one or the other ran the piece, even with some stuff from me regarding my Clifford Simak reprints. Both are run by the same guy.
