When I log in to LJ it takes me to a page called "HOME". I hate that page. It really shows almost nothing I want to see. I seem to remember that when LJ first started doing this, there was a way to delete the viewlets I didn't like and leave the few that I did. But now I don't seem to be able to get rid of them. Can someone point me to an instruction page, or give me some tips?

well, in Chrome I tend to view my Friends feed so much that it has made it one of my top-8 webpages on the "new tab" thus I go straight to it. Part of that was conditioning by typing in the URL field and selecting the /friends page to jump to.

And I stay logged in. Not like anyone else uses my laptop. I just use a Windows password instead.

I just have my LJ link pointing to /friends and it opens up on the friends page, which is where I like to start.

Since you got me going...

You can also modify the Journal Style and it will do something. Didn't see anything that lets you configure the home page.

My LJ friends page is one of the (5) default pages that Firefox opens for me whenever I start it. I almost never sign to LJ from a "cold start".
