A Poetic Modification

Well, it no longer rhymes, but in deference to lisajulie, here's the updated poem:

I was bitten,
By a kitten,
While sittin' knittin' a mitten.

Hittin' the kitten,
(with a firm spray from a bottle of 10% vinegar water solution)
Then quittin' knittin'.

It's only fittin'.
