Weight - Week 20
Oct. 15th, 2012 09:52 amI'm disappointed, but not giving up. I've lost 12 pounds. That's not very much. And I lost it in the first ten weeks. Since then I've been amazingly steady at exactly the same weight. I am telling myself that I have achieved a new "set point" and that eventually, at some point, I will start to lose again. I actually do believe this. But my goal of 30 pounds in six months does not, at this point, look achievable. I have six more weeks until that six months date and I'll just have to keep working and see if I can't get the downward trend started again. It is much easier to be strict with one's eating habits if there is movement, and more difficult if everything seems to stay the same no matter what you do.
