Books read in 2014

This is the shortest list I have ever posted. Something happened to me in July of 2014. It had never happened to me before in my life, and I'm still trying to figure it out. What happened was I stopped reading books. So this list is essentially January through July with the last four books tucked in on some airline flights and family visits during the holidays.

Okay. I lied. I do know why I stopped reading. It's because I started writing. I wrote two novels and three short stories between July and December of last year. I couldn't read because the characters in my head were having their own all-encompassing conversations. I'm not proud of it. I'm not even sure I like it. But I did it.
