falling all over the salad bar

actually, i managed to fall flat on my face in front of the salad bar. let me tell you, the floors at Jason's Deli are mighty clean. i was right down there examining them close up. this all happened at Scrabble Club last Thursday and the result is a very sore, but not sprained, ankle, and a small bruise on my cheekbone (where i was closely examining the tiled floor). luckily, our two brand new scrabble players had not yet shown up (to see me fall) so we were able to pretend that it was a normal scrabble night once i hobbled back to my seat.
